Well, here we are, about to start our 5th season not a real bad effort when "they" said we wouldn't last.

The fact that we have lasted so long is due, in no small part, to the wonderful leadership team that works tirelessly in ensuring that we are the best we can be.

Due also to the Captains and Deputy Captains who have respect for each other and who have embraced the initiative of not using referees and other initiatives that we have instituted here at UIC.

As you may well realise by now, (been living under a rock if you don't) UIC is expanding to 24 leagues which will be run in 2 Divisions each of 12.

UIC5 commences at 6pm on Saturday 13th January, 2007

A normal 22 week home and away season will be played culminating in the Finals Series on completion of the regular season.

Be there and be prepared for a great ride.

Make sure your players are signed up in plenty of time - don't leave it until the last minute.

There will be another newsletter that will go out prior to the new season commencing, in the meantime we wish everyone in UIC and in your respective Leagues a Very Merry Christmas and whatever else it is you may celebrate at this time of year and also a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
