UIC5
NEWS

Howdy all
This week sees us entering week 15 of the UIC5 schedule there have been a number of things happen, or about to happen, since the last newsletter which, thankfully aren't too often ;).
New teams have joined us, some teams have left us for whatever reasons but we wish all teams the best of luck in or out of UIC.
We would like to thank James aka pain_purifies and Scott aka scotty_who for their past contributions to UIC and wish them well in their endeavours and let them and UIC members know they will be welcome back at any time.
New people added to the leadership team are Randy, Tami and welcome back to Joe.
UIC enters "lockdown" on completion of this weeks matches - Lockdown means that you may not add any more players to your roster so the suggestion that you get players signed up really quickly. remembering, of course, how many games they need to be eligible for finals. (Link on both main pages).
Lockdown also means that no more teams will be admitted to UIC until this season is completed.
Advance warning here:-
In UIC6 we will be adding a cam division, details of which are being worked on right now.
At the moment it is envisaged that UICCAM will be 3 v 3 played on Fridays at 6pm in Logen ll with the same basic rules as UIC has currently.
The only difference that we can see is that there will be a set of cam rules added.
We will only be taking a minimum of 8 teams and a maximum of 12. (Leagues may enter more than 1 team).
An application for UICCAM will be up on the main page of UIC5 before too long - look out for it.
You can register your interest in advance now by contacting - Julie, Joe or Judge.
RETURNING LEAGUES for UIC6
Now would also be a good time to help us out by letting us know whether of not your league will be returning for UIC6, it is not necessary at this point to make application; if it is at all possible just let your leadership team know so that we can forward plan.
REMINDER CAPTAINS
It is your responsibility to check both your own players and your opposition players for eligibility - if you don't and there is a problem discovered after the game or match then it will be bad luck - the result will stand as is.
As is normal every captain, winner and loser, is to post in the UIC forum and include the vote for the opposition MVP - no vote then your own player will not be credited with a vote.
If you are unsure how to do this see how to here >> http://uic5.sitesled.com/uicreportingstandard.htm
If anyone has any problems at all contact an admin ASAP – don’t leave it.
This newsletter is being sent in plenty of time for any problems to be rectified so don’t say you weren’t told.
See you all in LOGEN II @ 6pm on Saturday 21st and GL to ALL teams.
